ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

WHO WE ARE

Salt Hybrid Academy first began in 2012 as a few homeschool families that were looking for opportunities to further invest in their children’s education, build a community of homeschooling families that could support one another, and center Christ in their children’s schooling. What started as a few families getting together in the backyard, has grown to a full, hybrid academy for K-12th grade, serving over 150 families in the St. Lucie and Martin Counties. Classes run Monday-Thursday and families can choose a 1, 2, or 3 day a week schedule.

The core goals and values from the beginning of Salt are still the purpose and mission of today. Salt is rooted in Christian values, the teachers are passionate about their subjects, and the goal is to instill a love of learning and integrity in every student. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or experienced, Salt Hybrid Academy invites you into a welcoming, faith-based community where your child can thrive.

Transcripts & Graduation

Salt provides transcripts for all Junior High and High School classes and can give a full transcript report for graduating students. We also have a graduation for our Seniors and provide a diploma.
Parent/Teacher Mentorship

We co-labor with parents in home-educating their children. Whether you are new to homeschooling or a veteran, we are happy to support parents with any questions, advice, meeting state requirements, and helping to meet a child’s needs.
Florida Standardized Testing

All students will participate in the annual Florida Standardized Testing at Salt and these scores can be utilized for parent’s evaluation at the end of the year.
