Junior-High School
7-12th Grade
For our Junior and High School students, there is a wide selection of academic and electives classes that parents can choose from. The benefit of our Hybrid Model is that parents are fully in control of their student’s education and all classes are chosen on a A La Carte basis for what will best meet your family’s needs.
Core Academics
Salt Hybrid Academy emphasizes a strong, rigorous focus on academics, while investing in the child and their abilities. High School students have state-required courses that your students can complete with experienced teachers and an enjoyable, peer-learning experience.
The core academic courses include various English Composition, Math, Science, History, Literature, and writing courses. These classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday.
Creative Electives
Elective classes are a great way for students to learn new skills, advance their hobbies, and engage with other students in an encouraging and fun class environment.
The electives for Junior High and High School include, but are not limited to, Bible, Cooking, PE, Drama, Film, Chess, Gardening, Spanish, Music.
Extracurricular Activities
Salt Hybrid prioritizes community, friendship, and experiences for our students. It is important that, while enjoying all the benefits that come from homeschooling, students still enjoy the social and celebratory events of high school.
Salt provides our high school students with Homecoming, Prom, Field Trips, Social Gatherings, Fundraisers, and Graduation.
